Die Spendit AG ist ein Münchner HR-Fintech Unternehmen, das mit seinen zwei Produkten SpenditCard und Lunchit App Mitarbeiterbindung und Tax-Management miteinander kombiniert.

Die SpenditCard ist eine Prepaidkarte und ermöglicht die flexible Nutzung steuerfreier Sachbezüge. Die Lunchit App ermöglicht das einfache Einscannen von Belegen zum Erhalt steuervergünstigter Essenszuschüsse für Mitarbeiter. Die Spendit AG unterstützt bereits über 5.500 Unternehmen mit ihren Produkten, die ihre Mitarbeiter noch glücklicher am Arbeitsplatz machen.

Industry-specific PR strategy and media relations

Since the beginning of 2019, pioneer communications is supporting the media relations department of Spendit AG. We are responsible for the development of an industry-specific PR strategy. In the course of a comprehensive digital scan, our analysis experts examined Spendit AG’s potential target groups and topics. The results were communicated in a workshop and formed the basis for the development of Spendits AG’s marketing and communication strategy 2020. In day-to-day business, the account team is responsible for important staff tasks such as maintaining networks with journalists, developing press-relevant topics and their distribution.

Mission

Wir formulieren gemeinsam mit den Kommunikationsverantwortlichen bei der Spendit AG Kernbotschaften für die unterschiedlichen Unternehmenszielgruppen. Um die Spendit AG bei den relevanten Zielgruppen sichtbarer zu machen, setzen wir gemeinsam mit dem Unternehmen auf strategische Pressearbeit und platzieren regelmäßig passende Themen in den relevanten Fach- und Publikumsmedien – offline und online.

Realisation

The basic task was to develop a suitable PR strategy that would do justice to the complex topic and the various target groups. Accordingly, the mix of measures is composed of tools of classical press and media work. We regularly offer the identified target media suitable topics and content related to Spendit AG and the digital employee benefits SpenditCard and Lunchit App. In addition, we keep an eye on media coverage in order to jump to relevant news and issue statements.

Evaluation

The mission is to increase the awareness of Spendit AG among the relevant target groups via the media as multipliers. In addition, the company’s positive reputation is to be further strengthened and to position Spendit AG as an expert in the field of digital employee benefits. Accordingly, the most important KPIs in quantitative terms are the number of clippings, the ad equivalent value and in qualitative terms the tonality of the clippings. In the second half of 2019, the advertising equivalent value of the publications was over 1 million euros.
